RadVoice — Text-to-Speech App for Radiology
Listen to Radiology Reports. Dictate Them by Voice.
RadVoice is a voice-enabled radiology application for RadTech Solutions. It converts written reports into natural audio and lets professionals create reports by speaking.
Business challenge
Reports are read and written all day, mostly on a screen
Radiology professionals review and create reports across long working days. Reading findings on a screen for extended periods adds to screen fatigue, and creating reports through manual data entry interrupts the flow of work in busy clinical environments.
RadTech Solutions wanted a faster, more flexible way to manage that documentation, one that lets professionals listen to a report as well as read it, and create one without typing.
Implemented solution
One application for listening and dictating
RadVoice combines text-to-speech and speech-to-text. Written findings are converted into clear, natural-sounding audio, so professionals can review reports hands-free while handling other tasks.
In the other direction, real-time voice dictation lets professionals create and edit reports by speaking through a smartwatch, a mobile device or any connected microphone. The interface is designed so users can switch between listening and dictation modes.
