BLOOM Outdoor Möbel is a home and garden company with more than 450 employees. It produces in Indonesia and sells through showrooms in Germany, the UK, the UAE, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand.

As the company grew, running manufacturing, shipping and sales across so many locations needed one dependable source of information instead of separate tools and manual coordination.

The solution

FM Solutions designed and built a custom system from scratch, launched in 2015 and extended ever since. It automates the work that used to be slow and manual, and it keeps every location working from the same data.

    The customer record is the starting point

    • Contact details, customer type, price level, lead source and campaign fields.
    • Tabs for contact history, email, sample orders, quotations, orders, packing lists, invoices, purchase orders, shipping, payment, open balance and credit notes.

  2. Sales Order

    Sales orders carry price, currency and shipping

    • Customer, delivery address and contact person, with shipping method and priority date.
    • Line items with weight, volume and price, a searchable items list, and a live summary of net amount, VAT and total.
    • Tabs for terms, deposit and payments, files, shipment, production info and internal notes.

  3. Packing List

    Packing lists turn orders into shipments

    • Order picking and packing list tabs with item IDs, picked quantities, volume and weight per line.
    • Totals for items, quantity, volume and weight, plus batch number, status and delivery method.
    • German and English output with selectable print layouts.

  4. Invoice

    Invoices close the loop

    • Invoice number, date and paid status, with currency and exchange rate.
    • Line items priced in both US dollars and Indonesian rupiah.
    • Summary of subtotal, discount, deposit, net amount, VAT, gross amount and amount due.
