Business challenge

Daily salon work touches many records

A salon runs on appointments, working hours, clients, employees, stock and orders. The application is designed to help owners organize that daily work, automate booking processes and manage all important business data from one place.

The aim is a clean, user-friendly dashboard where the whole business can be managed, instead of a different tool for every task.

Implemented solution

One dashboard for the whole salon

Salon Management Web App is a complete business application for beauty salons, hair salons and service-based businesses. It runs in the browser, so there is no software to install.

Owners manage appointments, working hours, non-working days, clients, employees, messages, inventory, orders, promotions and reports through one dashboard.

The interface in the screenshots is in Bosnian.

Functional areas

What the application covers

The main areas, as described by the project and shown in its screens.

Appointments and online booking
- A weekly calendar of appointments with a client search, a service filter and a tab for each employee.
- A booking dialog in four steps: services, time slot, client and confirmation.
- Online booking is part of the salon profile settings.
Working hours and non-working days
- Opening hours set for each weekday, with a day switched off when the salon is closed.
- A calendar for marking holidays and other days when the salon does not work, with a list of entries for the year.
Client records and messages
- A client list with name, phone, email, last visit and status, plus search, a status filter and sorting.
- Export, import and add-client actions.
- A Messages section for writing client email messages, with a subject, body text and recipients.
Employee management
- An employee list with name, email, role, position and status.
- Search by name or email, a status filter and an add-employee action.
Inventory and orders
- Monthly stock sheets with starting and minimum stock, a column for each day and the total.
- Several stock sheets can be kept as separate tabs.
- An orders list with number, name, date, items, total and status, with counters by status.
Promotions and reports
- A promotions list with type, start and end time, and an active or expired status.
- Treatment reports for today, this week, this month, last month, this year or a custom period.
- Charts by service, client or employee, as counts or revenue, with a detailed table.
Business settings
- A salon profile with name, phone, city and address.
- A price list of services with category, duration, price and status.
- Settings tabs for working hours, devices, custom fields and online booking.
